  4.     o     Reads Targa 24-bit Uncompressed, Vivid/Alias 24-bit,
  5.         DBKTrace/PVRay 24-bit and NIF 15-bit files
  6.     o    Reads NAF Animated Files
  7.     o   Recognizes GIF87a, GIF89a, Windows Bitmaps and others
  8.     o    Supports ET-4000 Hicolor, ET-4000 and boards with a VESA BIOS
  9.     o   Allows 15-bit, 24-bit files to be displayed in 256 color modes*
  10.     o    Writes NIF 15-bit RLE compressed files. When converting from a
  11.         24-bit to NIF, compression ratio can exceed 90%
  12.     o    Accepts Wildcards as filenames
  13.     o    Will write 4DOS Descriptions of each file read (file type, 
  14.         resolution and number of colors)
  15.     o   Will simply display information of each file in the specified
  16.         directory.
  17.     o    Allows you to determine which video mode to use
  18.         If you enter "VIEW15 /?" you'll get a listing of all the
  19.         available video modes
  20.     o   Automatic detection and use of second monochrome monitor to
  21.         display image/video board specific information

  23. * The color mapping function of View/15 is seriously slow. I am currently
  24.   working on this. There are three different palettes to choose from:
  25.  
  26.     Palette 0: Best all-around colors. Lotsa mixed colors
  27.     Palette 1: Contains the most "pure" colors of different intensities.
  28.                Excellent for ray-tracings.
  29.     Palette 2: Gray-Scale

  35. /4DOS  Writes 4DOS Description of each file. Example:
